Conveniently located in Demorest, Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham is a 53-bed, not-for-profit, acute care facility providing health care to more than 80,000 residents of Habersham and adjoining counties.
The Habersham County Health Department provides its services to everyone regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, political belief, disability or sex. The health department charges only minimal fees for its services, and some services have adjusted fee scales based on ability to pay.
New Horizons Habersham, a licensed 84-bed skilled nursing facility offering 24/7 nursing care, is located on the Habersham Medical Center campus and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Avita Community Partners offers an array of behavioral health and developmental disabilities programs that assist adults, children, adolescents, and families affected by a mental illness, emotional disorder, addictive disease, and/or developmental disability.
