Child safety seat check set Friday morning, July 19

Parents, grandparents, and babysitters, here is a free opportunity to make sure your favorite young person is safe when riding with you.

The Habersham County Sheriff's Office will host a child seat check from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, July 19, at the Habersham County Fairgrounds off Toccoa Highway near Clarkesville.

Car seat technicians need those attending to bring the child to assure proper fitting. 

This check is being conducted in partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health.
